The suffering of the Iraqis

The suffering of the Iraqi people is of several dimensions. Before the war the Iraqis were under two hammers, the blockade and Saddam. You might not know what is the blockade? Ok I can give you an idea about it. The blockade simply turned every Iraqi from a rich person into a poor person, the average salary was 500$ and it becomes 3$ a month! Can you imagine the difference? I saw people eating each other because of a bunch of dollars, it was hell. And Saddam as a dictator was controlling the Iraqis the way he thinks is suitable. The Americans did not want to change the situation because they refused allow any military coup and this is the truth, no one was allowed to topple Saddam. When dr. Raggi tried to do that the Americans delivered the names of the coup participants to Saddam well of course he executed them all.
I think this is the bad luck of the Iraqis because I am unable to find an answer to what was happening in Iraq. There were no electricity, no clean water, no infra structure because the Americans destroyed it all in 1991 alleging that Saddam might get benefit from! Even the water treatment plants they destroyed it. They even refused any material that involve in the treatment process, and I am as an environmental engineer discovered a very devastating faults in the water treatment plats. When I was saying that there is some danger the authority used to say to me keep your mouth shut, it’s non of your business. But I was telling people whom I meet to be careful with water. The depleted uranium weapons that the Americans used during the second gulf war also was a big problem because its side effect is still harvesting lives in Iraq until now 2006.
The daily routine of the Iraqis is death, agony and distruction nothing more and nothing less. The Americans as they always are not on their way to resolve the ordeal; all what Bush does care about is how many contracts he gives to the companies that helped him is this war. It is obvious that this dilemma will continue until the end of Bush’s term in office because I do not believe his successor will be as fool as he is. Woe be on the criminals and those who walk in their way.

We cried and we will still crying but we will not ask anyone except Allah the one who created this earth to find us a solution. He is the only merciful in this world.

I really don’t know how Bush is justifying this war. Is he really digesting the lies he keep telling the American people. Or is he saying to himself I wished that I had done anything except attacking Iraq.
